چکیده

The outdoor insulators in service are exposed to marine, agricultural waste and industrial pollution. These pollutants get deposited on the insulator surface lead flashovers under fog conditions. There has been an abnormal increase pollution levels due rapid industrialization past two decades. This exponential causes frequent of insulators, leading tripping transmission lines consecutively may result blackouts, which severely affects reliability power systems. ESDD NSDD measurement critical parameters for determining severity levels. paper discusses procedures. In this paper, field simulated Artificial Pollution Lab. addition, Non-Soluble Deposit Density (NSDD) component designing creepage distance ceramic heavy conditions emphasized.
